Tax Information
for Louisiana Residents
Louisiana legislators passed a law that allows Louisiana residents
an individual income tax deduction for tuition,
fees, and certain educational supplies and expenses
paid on or after January 1, 2009. Taxpayers will be
allowed to deduct up to half of tuition and other
costs up to $5,000 per child.
Spring Banquet
The Booster Club
will present its Spring Athletic Awards Banquet on
Tuesday, February 23rd at 7:00PM. The
2009 Varsity Football Team, the Lady Tiger
Fast-Pitch Softball Team, the Boys’ and Girls’
Basketball Teams, the Varsity Cheerleaders, and the
Tiger Darlings will be honored at the banquet. The
2010 Baseball Team will also be introduced. Brisket
or Pork dinners (your choice) will be available in
the lunchroom for $5.00, which will include brisket
or pork, potato salad, coleslaw, dessert and drink.
Come out and support these teams as they conclude a
season of winning, spirit, and character.

The Junior High and High School
Science Fair will be held on February 8th.
Projects must be set up in the gym Sunday, February
7th. All
students at CA are expected to complete a project.
We have been very successful on the state level and
we expect to again this year.

2010-2011 Registration
Registration for the 2010-2011 school year begins
February 1st and will continue through
March 1st. The registration fee has
increased to $150 per student. Forms will be sent
home the last week of January—look for a large
yellow envelope. All families must complete both
sides of the registration form.
NUT Day
The next NUT day will be on Thursday,
February 18th. All NUT cards must be
turned in no later than Tuesday, February 16th.
